Artwork guidelines & print areas
Everything you need to prepare a file that prints well: accepted formats, the exact printable area for every product, and downloadable templates sized to match.
Preparing your file
Accepted file types
Upload PNG, JPG, PDF, SVG, AI, EPS or PSD. Vector files (SVG, AI, EPS, PDF) scale cleanly to any print size; raster files (PNG, JPG, PSD) print best close to their original size.
Maximum file size
50MB per file. Large vector files with embedded fonts or effects sometimes hit this — flatten or outline text if yours does.
Resolution
We recommend at least 150dpi at the size you're printing. Our builder checks this as you place your design and flags anything likely to look soft.
Transparent backgrounds
JPG always has a solid background. For a cut-out design with no background, upload a PNG, SVG, AI or EPS file instead.
However your file measures up, every order still gets a real check after payment and a proof before we print — see how it works.
Print areas by product
The maximum printable area for each placement, shown on the actual garment we mock up your order against. Download a template sized to match, so your design lines up before you upload it.
